Payment Options
TayPlay works around you as a parent/guardian. We have a variety of different payment methods available that can be found below. ​

We understand that spreading the cost can make childcare more affordable for families. We allow parents/guardians to spread the cost of their bookings to suit them, providing that full payment is received five days prior to their booking commencing. But how does this work for bookings spread across multiple weeks?
During some holidays, families may book our provision for a period of say four weeks. This means that the total for each week would be needed five days before that week. For example, payment would be needed for week one, five days before the camp start date, but payment for the remaining weeks could continue to be spread, as long as each week’s total is paid five days before the start of that week.
We’re here to support families with the financial costs associated with childcare. If you have any questions or would like to discuss spreading the cost of your booking, please get in contact and we would be happy to help.
BACS/Card
To pay for your slots via BACS, you will need to book your slots online and await the confirmation receipt, which will be sent via email.
Your confirmation receipt will contain the information you need to make the payment. You can then make the payment through your bank using the details below. Once we have received your payment, we will then send you a payment confirmation email.

You can pay your balance in full or spread the payments however you like. Please note, full payment is due five days before your booking is due to commence.​
Childcare Vouchers
To use a childcare voucher provided from one of our partners, you will need to make an online booking. Once you have received your booking confirmation email from us, you can then log in to your selected childcare voucher portal and find TayPlay as a provider. You will then just need to input the total amount from your TayPlay confirmation email into the childcare voucher portal.
Childcare voucher payments can take up to 10 days to reach our account, please let us know, via email, which childcare vouchers you are paying with and the reference number you have been given. When we have received your payment, you will receive a payment receipt.
If you're booking within 10 days of the Holiday Camp commencing, you will not be able to use childcare vouchers. TayPlay requires full payment prior to your child/children attending the Holiday Camp.
If you book early and your provider can accommodate it you can pay monthly childcare voucher instalments to us, helping you spread the cost.

Tax Free Childcare
TayPlay Activity Camps are an Ofsted registered childcare provider. This means that eligible families are able to make the most of tax free childcare. Eligible families are entitled to £2 of childcare allowance for every £8 they contribute. For example, if you are providing £80 towards the cost of your childcare, the government will provide an additional £20 towards to cost. Once you have booked your space with us, you can then make your payment through the tax free portal, on the tax free childcare website – our details are below. Following this, please let us know, via email, your unique reference number.
We should receive this payment within 1 working day. Until we receive this, your booking will remain as a 'provisional' booking. As soon as we have received your payment, you will receive a payment receipt via email.

Student Finance
Full time students may be eligible for a childcare grant to help with the costs associated with childcare. To find out more about available grants, you can get in touch with your university or college.
If eligible, you can use your grant towards childcare costs with TayPlay. Simply book online and make a payment to cover 20% of your overall total (Via BACS or Card).
Once this has been done, find TayPlay on your Student Finance Portal using our provider code (Highlighted below). Then, send us an email over to make us aware of your student finance eligibility and then we can do the rest!

Universal Credit
If you are in receipt of Universal Credit, you may be able to claim back some of the cost associated with childcare.
If eligible for this support, you will need to make an online booking with us and pay in full. You can then let us know, via email, that you are claiming some of the costs back through Universal Credit.
We will then send you an approved invoice with everything required (Including our Ofsted Number) as evidence for you to provide to the Universal Credit team
HAF
A number of TayPlay Activity Camps are able to offer HAF spaces during the holidays, to eligible families. HAF funded spaces allow children to attend our provision free of charge and they’ll even get a healthy lunch whilst they’re with us! If you are eligible for HAF spaces at your local TayPlay venue, your child’s school will make you aware.
HAF funding comes from the local authority and so spaces vary depending on your geographical location. If you would like more information or would like to check on HAF spaces in your area you can contact your child’s school directly or give us a call on 01664 793263.
